This building, designed by EL Studio, contains four two-story three-bedroom homes situated around a central courtyard. The lower units feature private sunken gardens while the upper units each enjoy a private roof deck. The project cleverly balances openness and privacy within an architectural envelope that is proudly contemporary while also making clear and direct references to the historical neighborhood which it inhabits.
